Module Introduction
One of the most important leadership qualities is emotional intelligence: the ability to understand and manage our own emotions and the emotions of people around us. We will explore how our lived and learned experiences and biases impact how we see and lead the world. We will learn a bit about how the human brain works and how it can sometimes short-circuit despite its highly evolved structure and share tools that help us respond more thoughtfully, resiliently, and effectively.
